Aldea Energy is a startup that aims to bring renewable energy to Spanish families and companies by developing a model of self-consumption of energy through the installation of solar panels on rooftops, where a single source of solar energy generation supplies multiple power supplies.
The operation has been led by both individual investors such as Marcos Lacruz, president of the Valencian Association of Energy Sector Businessmen, and corporates specialists in the energy sector such as Azigrene Consultores.
With the financing obtained from this operation, the company's goal is to reach 100 operational roofs installed with solar panels by 2023 to produce solar energy in the Valencian Community, Murcia, Castilla La Mancha and Madrid.
👉 But let's tell you a little more.
Who is Aldea Energy and how did it come about?
Faced with the energy crisis in Europe, Roberto Rubio, Carlos López and Germán López, three professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy and photovoltaic sector, decided to found Aldea Energy with the aim of democratizing access to collective self-consumption in Spain, allowing a family to have access to solar photovoltaic energy through a monthly subscription model, which starts at €5.49 per month.
