Inespay, a provider of payment initiation services, has closed its first round of investment of 500,000 euros led by Angels, Juan Roig's investment company.
The round was also attended by entrepreneurs and business angels specialized in fintech, Fernando Cabello-Astolfi (founder of Aplázame, acquired by WiZink), Arturo González Mac Dowell (founder of Eurobits, acquired by Tink) and Iván Peña (founder of Ritmo).
With this operation, Inespay's objective is to continue its growth process and consolidate its leadership in Spain and Portugal.

Who is Inespay and how was it born?
Founded in Valencia by Víctor Pardo, CEO, and Carlos Castellanos, COO, Inespay was born with the idea of digitizing payment by bank transfer to make it an alternative online payment method to bank cards and PayPal. In February 2020, it became the first payment entity authorized by the Bank of Spain to provide payment initiation services and currently has clients of the caliber of Decathlon, PC Componentes and Carrefour Viajes.
